Customised Classes to Swim with Confidence
Our classes at Kismet Aquatic Centre are designed to provide children and adults of all ages with a safe and supportive environment to learn and improve their swimming skills. Our programs have something for everyone, whether you are looking to learn the basics or refine your technique.
About the Lessons
- Our pool is a private indoor facility with heated salt chlorinated water.
- We have one lesson running at a time, limiting external distractions for students.
- Small class sizes ensures children have more interaction with our fully qualified instructors.
- Each lessons runs for 30 minutes
- Our family owned and operated business means we know all of our students and assess them regularly to ensure development and progress is being maintained.
Our Programs
Parent & Child
- For children aged 4 months+
- Adult to get in the water with the child
- 6 students per lesson
- Learning water familiarity, water safety and the fundamentals of learning strokes
- Class duration 30 minutes
Learn to Swim
- For children approximately 2.5 years +
- Children swimming independently in the water (no adult)
- 4 students per lesson
- Learning water familiarity, water safety, learning strokes and swimming distances
- Class duration 30 minutes
Stroke Correction
- Learning extensive stroke techniques
- 4 students per lesson
- Class duration 30 minutes
Private Lessons
- 1:1 or 1:2 lessons
- Classes tailored to each individuals needs
- Class duration 30 minutes
Access and Inclusion
- 1:1 lessons for additional needs
- A private and safe learning environment
- Learning water familiarity, water safety and the fundamentals of learning strokes at the students own pace
- Class duration 30 minutes
Adult Classes
- Group or private lessons available
- Learning basic swimming skills and water confidence
- Class duration 30 minutes
Learn to swim levels

Level 1
Octopus
Parent & Child classes or infants who have just started lessons independently. In these classes students learn water familiarity and activities that establish the principles of learning to do strokes.

Level 2
Tadpole
Water familiarity and beginning to kick independently across the pool with an aid

Level 3
Seahorse
Kicking across the shallow water with and without an aid and beginning to gain confidence to swim independently in the deeper water with the use of an aid.

Level 4
Starfish
Commencing to swim lengths of the pool with and without an aid

Level 5
Stingray
Commencing to swim multiple lengths of the pool with competent strokes

Level 6
Dolphin
Commencing distance swimming confident in all strokes
